Happy Easter

Just back from a road trip this morning. It was a last-minute decision after Friday’s workout to head out of town.

Can you guess where I went and what I did?

    1. You guys are some good guessers. It was indeed acupuncture. I came out better than when I went in, but not the miracle I was expecting and got last time.

  2. I hope the acupuncture works well for you! I know some who swear by it. I've never had it for anything -- well, not yet, lol.

    1. It's worked well for me in the past, helped a little this time but I'm older now so not a complete cure. There's only so much can be done with this aging body.

    1. Not as well as I'd have liked this time. Probably need more treatments, but it's a 3 hour drive from here, the last hour and a half is bumper to bumper Los Angeles traffic. So I won't be going back for a while, but I will go back. I'm just catching up on blog reading, headed over your way in a bit, see what your Easter was like.

  4. Those don't look like needles. They look like nails.

  5. Why yes, after your pictures I think it was safe to guess acupuncture, unless you were becoming a human pin cushion!! LMAO!!!

I sure hope you had a good meal for Easter? And a happy one.

    1. I actually can't remember the last time I celebrated Easter anyway, so doing something productive like acupuncture was my meal, LOL.

  6. A very traditional Easter. If it helps even a little it's worth it.

    1. If you think of the correlation between Jesus being nailed to the cross and my being stuck with needles, in a weird way it was a traditional Easter.

  7. Oh jeepers, I hadn't made the connection between Jesus and your acupuncture nails. What's with the poster of lungs and the red and green giant dots on the wall? At first glance I thought I was looking at a table in an abortion clinic....but probably not possible. (I worked nights the last two...I have slowed thinking today.) Three hours is a long drive for a needle doc. Surely there's a good one closer! They even have acupuncturists for pets now! Western medicine certainly doesn't have all the secrets. Linda in Kansas

    1. I don't know if the red and green dots represent, could be shakras, but as for the posters, everything is connected. They do an extensive study of everything about the body ... what I eat, when I eat it, health issues, blood pressure, how I feel on a daily basis, what hurts because a pain in one area can cause an effect in another or be the effect of something going on in another area. Thus, the needles not only in my shoulder but along various parts of my leg. That's why I prefer driving to this University. I know them, trust them, know they're professionals. At any rate, this morning's workout went well, no pain anywhere, so I guess it worked better than I initially thought. Just had to have time to take effect, unlike last time when it was instantaneous.
