I’ll be away from the laptop until after the holiday.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Turkey Day, Stolen Land Day, Thanksmas ─ if you’re one of those who has the tree up already, jumped straight through to Christmas.
BTW, yesterday’s dream did not take into account the cost-of-living increases. Instead of the $45 and change in the dream, it was $98 and change for incidentals at the pharmacy in real life.
Have a faboosh time.
ReplyDeletePS I love Thanksmas!
It was Thanksmas. Baby wore Christmas P.J.'s, tree was up, Christmas display outside and inside up already.
DeleteI didn't know we were supposed to dream with the correct inflation figures. Hawaii was stolen from their people and queen. Not sure about the Thanksgiving hoopla. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteLOL! But I get it.
DeleteHope you will have had a good trip! Olivia
ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia. It was fun.
DeleteEnjoy your Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI did! Hope you enjoyed yours.
DeleteWho says it pays to dream?!?
ReplyDeleteMust not be such a thing as inflation in the dream world.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving. I hope it was a good day for you. Have a good Holiday season.
ReplyDeleteIt was several good days Mary. Hope your neighbors let you enjoy yours.
DeleteI remember growing up that we didn't really make as big a deal out of celebrating Thanksgiving as most Families. Mostly becoz Dad was Native American and Mom was from another Country, so they could have skipped it entirely, but felt obligated I guess, to make a contemporary Thanksgiving Traditional Meal like everyone else would be having. It's a Holiday I can take or leave personally.
ReplyDeleteI distanced myself from family for like a decade. It's only been in the last few years I've been involving myself, mostly at Thanksgiving.
