Who is Not Surprised

With a shady judge who hamstrung the prosecution, raise your hand if you are not surprised that snot nosed Kyle Rittenhouse walked free.

I’ll go first.

That is all.

  1. It disgusts me.
He was pronounced innocent by the judge before the trial ever started.

    1. That's a fact, he was pronounced innocent by the judge. Hopefully this is the last trial for that judge.

  2. I must not be as astute as I thought. For Kyle blatantly walking into a mess, and shooting people, I thought for sure he'd be guilty on something in that mess. The country has gone bizarre. It's too scary. Linda in Kansas

    1. Getting away with murder at such a young age. Wonder what he's going to do for an encore.

    2. You are absolutely right - this isn't the last we will will hear from him.

    3. Sandra, I hope the families of the victims bring civil suits. They won't win, but it will bring out the fact that Kyle beat up a teenage girl, and also that he'd expressed wanting to kill people before so the jurors can know they were duped.

  3. He said he wants to become a nurse. I guess that way he can kill people with needles.

  4. He most likely won't be accepted into any nursing school...hopefully. Linda in Kansas

    1. I'm not so sure. Because he was found not guilty, he can go do be whatever he wants. His notoriety can't be held against him.

  5. Appalling, but not surprising. "Justice" in racist America.

  6. Im not shocked. It's the new America that started by electing Trump. He opened a Pandora box and now we will not get back. The Rittenhouse is only the beginning....and as you show....the judge didn't even try to hide his feeling or how this was going to go. Nothing but a horse and pony show.

    1. I can't believe anyone was shocked, but you can bet had Kyle been Black "defending himself even though he put himself in that position", there would have been a different outcome.

  7. I'm not surprised but goddamn it am I'm so tired of this shit. It felt like a gut punch yesterday when I saw the news. This is a gift to the radical right wing nutjobs in this country and their murderous ways.

    1. I keep telling myself that some day this stuff will end, but so far it's few and far between. But there is gratitude for the few.

  8. Alsolutely shocked (not) - how can he walk away with no charges! Bogs the mind!

    1. It does bog the mind, even though I should be accustomed to seeing by now. I think that what made this one worse was that judge, so obviously biased.

  9. Sometimes the "right to a fair trial" just doesn't come close.

  10. Sadly, most of us predicted this Outcome and Justice was not served and the Victims Families had their Loved Ones vilified instead.
