She Won!
A Huge Thanks to All Who Voted. Every vote counted.
I’m happy for her, because it’s what she wanted, said she needed to further the cause she supports, but it kinda adds to my level of anxiety with her being out there on Skid Row.
Watching the broadcast, I went Mmmmmm when Zaddy walked out on the stage. He was presenter for one of the other competing heroes.
Did I hear you ask who is Zaddy?
I thought everyone knew Zaddy is this handsome hunk …..
Ever since he showed off his bod in this issue of Men’s Health Magazine, social media aptly dubbed him Zaddy/hot Daddy.
Not only did Twin 1 win the competition, but she got to put an arm around Zaddy.
Yes! Congratulations to Shirley. π
ReplyDeleteI can understand your anxiety but, wow, the world needs more people like your daughter.
(PS: that Zaddy is hot π)
Thanks for your support and yes, Zaddy is most def hot.
DeleteALL RIGHT! T1 does it! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteThanks for voting, Mike.
DeleteYIPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy your daughter won!!!!! And I know you must be proud Shirley! I saw your daughter's speech and it had me in tears. I'm so glad she can continue her much needed work and most likely gain even more visibility and funding for such a good cause. What a lovely soul she is. Im so overjoyed for her and you.
And the Zaddy hug was just gravy. I hot gravy mind you.
I'm happy for her that she attained her goal, but I gotta tell you, it was the gravy that got me. LOL.
DeleteCongrats to your daughter! I know you and she must be proud and happy. I saw this online tonight...she does such good work. And think of the lives she touches. A happy day.
ReplyDeleteThank You, Mahogany E.
DeleteSo proud of your daughter. What an amazing story.
ReplyDeleteA lot of pain all around in her story, but I'm happy she's doing something helpful with it.
DeleteWinning is good, putting your arms around that hunk is a everything!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Twin 1!
What was funny is that, earlier in the day, she'd toured Central Park and made a joke about looking for Detective Stabler. Lo and Behold she met Zaddy that night in the Green Room of CNN.
DeleteSo proud of her! Such a good cause. She's inspiring. Glad my votes helped.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam. I'm pretty sure that, with 9 other worthy heroes being voted for, your votes helped to get Twin 1 to the Win.
DeletePass on my congratulations to your daughter. She deserves it.
ReplyDeleteWill do!
DeleteWooHoo! How exciting! Congratulations to her and her very worthy cause.
ReplyDeleteThanks Abby.
DeleteHOORAY! After working all weekend, I scrolled through my cell phone's news: SHE WON! SHE WON! How totally cool! SOOOO EXCITING! Oh gosh. Surely she doesn't need a body guard for a while does she? I'd think most of the folks she's helping wouldn't be a problem because of the win. Just wonderful for all of you. (Sorry, Zaddy's not my type of guy; I prefer a head of hair and a beard....never heard of him either...)
ReplyDeleteCheers! Cheers! Linda in Kansas
Part of the reason why my anxiety has been amped up, is that often it IS the people you help that cause you harm. Some on the Row, or bad guys knowing where to find her, might now see her as an easy target. She does have protection on the weekend by a group of bikers. But, against my advice, she continues to make trips during the week ... alone ... to hand out food. Ugh to beards. Yes to bald heads. LOL.
DeleteThat is great news! I bet you're a proud mama today. She should be proud too. That's a huge honor to be bestowed.
ReplyDeleteIt IS huge. Hopefully, the attention she's bringing to the plight of Skid Row will produce affordable housing.
DeleteOh drats; what a different perspective. Praying a biker who doesn't work during the week could help her. Saw the CNN interview this morning! Gosh, she's probably on a TV show circuit for a little while. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteActually, she's been on TV, in magazines, etc. for some time. It's just that, on the rare occasion, I've not posted about what she does on the blog. Her needing others to vote was one of those rare occasions :-)
DeleteThat's awesome! Congrats to her.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary.
DeleteWell, I'm late to this party, but congrats!
ReplyDeleteWHAT!? You missed my daily coaxing to vote for the last three weeks? :-o
DeleteOh, how exciting. I'm so glad for her and well done Momma on bring the girl up with good values.
ReplyDeleteShe wasn't an easy child to raise. It's nice to know some of the seeds I planted eventually did take root.
