Halloween in July

The heat is killing me!

Skelly here kept popping up in my feeds, calling my name so, as the price continued to drop, off I drove on Sunday to pick him up at the craft store.

If you think it’s too early for Halloween, you’d be wrong because, in addition to being bombarded with ads offering up Halloween decor, in-store displays are already popping up.

To top it off, I heard on the news this morning that Spirit Halloween stores are opening up.

At this rate, Halloween decor is going to be sold out long before Halloween rolls around.

  2. Thanks for making me laugh out loud today! Skelly looks good; at least he's got good bone structure. That should scare the hell out of anybody tempting to get into your car! He'll look great on your patio for Halloween. He needs a bottle of water now; later and candy bar stuck in his mouth and hands. I'll have an Anatomy test for you by Halloween for all of da bone parts, eh? Linda in Kansas

  4. It is too early...it's still almost over 4 months away! By time the holiday of any kind gets here, the actual day, everybodys over it by then because retail rushs everything.

    1. This is rushing it, but it's going to be fun seeing what the shops come up with insofar as displays.

    1. LOL. Good idea, but the shops will already be doing Christmas by then.

  7. My daughter said something similar while FaceTiming the other day. She and granddaughter had gone to Michael's and the whole store was decorated in fall stuff. "It will all be gone by Labor Day, Mom, so they'll have room for Christmas stuff."

    1. There must be a reason for the madness. I'd better make sure I have spider webs and whatever before they run out and/or up the price on what they later have available.
