Actually a few last things before I put my favorite holiday (Halloween) completely behind me.
Odd how The Addams Family, inasmuch as they’ve been around for ages, was so immensely popular as costumed characters this time around.
I’m fairly certain Netflix’s Wednesday had something to do with it.
My Little Stalker’s GG sent me a vid of her Wednesday costume and dance, for which she won a 1st Place Medal in a costume contest.
In return, I put on my costume, took a video of the dance I learned from TikTok shortly after the movie came out last year.
So, that's it for Halloween this year, but it's not too early to plan for next year's costume and decorations while everything's on sale.
Except that's how I ended up with three, count 'em, three Thing hands.
I'd planned early, purchased Thing on sale but, as Halloween approached, could not find where I'd stored Thing.
Of course, after purchasing another, the first one turned up; but then I ran across the motion activated Thing, had to have it.
So now, I've a collection.
Oh well, I suppose three hands are better than one.
I have to hand it to you....I like your collection!

ReplyDeleteLike I told Debra, it's the only TikTok dance that didn't involve an injury of some sort while trying to learn it. I'm currently trying to learn the Woody Dance. I like to keep up.

You wouldn't believe how many times I've said those same words to myself when I couldn't find something. Good news is that, because space is limited, that which was missing eventually turns up.
DeleteLove your Thing Collection, and yes, Three of anything constitutes an official Collection... as in Incurable Collector, I know. *LOL* The Addams Family is Iconic so I'm not surprised it has abided over the many Years, but, this Year it was very Popular and when a new Movie drops for any Iconic Characters, it always makes a big splash and new devotees of the Younger Generation who may not know of the Originals.

DeleteBuying something you know you have but can't find when you want to use it is SO common at my house. You'd think we'd get smart and put a notation on our day planners near the date where we'd be wanting those items. Three definitely is a collection.
