Truly Iconic in so many ways and overcame so much in her Life. Her Music will live on. I knew she was Buddhist but was surprised to hear she gave up her American Citizenship to become a Swiss Citizen... yet, her reason for doing so when asked during an Interview made perfect sense. She found true Love with her current Husband and they have been together a long time... after surviving an abusive relationship with Ike I was always happy that she found a good Man who cherished her and they had a happy and long relationship. She has always been Inspirational.
Here here! At least we got left behind with her beautiful song book and that amazing voice.

DeleteAmazing woman, seriously talented, powerful charisma. Everyone loved Tina. Her death makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about sad. I get teary eyed every time I think of her having been ill and then passing.
DeleteThe Queen has left us.
ReplyDeleteAnd left way too soon, IMO.

ReplyDeleteWord! She was and still is a role model to me.
DeleteWasn't she just the greatest. Love ya, Tina.
ReplyDeleteI can think of a lot of people still with us who should have been taken in her place.
