Doing the right thing seems to be beyond the scope of many. Too afraid they'll lose whatever they've gained or perhaps their own dirty deeds will come to light.
Their greed, sense of superiority and self-interest is strong. Just like the Nazi Regime, they're feeling safe in their cocoons, not wanting to break out. It's going to take something larger than them all, something beyond their control to end the madness.
What goes around, comes around.... and when HWSNBN et. al. get the same treatment from China or Russia, the US will be very much alone and shivering in an exile of its own creation. Especially if the US uses up its military might to turn Greenland and Canada into vassal states beforehand. Happy New Year!
I'd wondered about that idea too. I think we'll need to "pay" a cooperative country to come get him. Don't we have contracts with some of those countries to accept our criminals?
